Mad Max on bicycles. A gang of pedal punks chase Rosie, a ginger scavenger, through a post apocalyptic downtown Calgary. Her home is in flames. Her life depends on “pushing pedal” harder than the gang chasing her. Luckily, she has friends. A bicycle gang of misfits who heed her call for help, because home isn’t a place, it’s where your friends are.
The future is nothing like Mad Max. We drained all the easy oil from the world and what’s left takes too much energy to get to. Solar and electric are fragile and rare. Humankind has resorted to muscle power. Forget steam punk, this is pedal punk. Spikes and bikes. The only way to keep from getting spooked is to push hard.
